Using new technology, these LED lights emit 17.5 times the light output of an incandescent bulb for the same energy input!
The Super lightweight all aluminium Lights can be mounted in an un-reinforced ceiling or wall in the typical veterinary surgery and because of the lightweight construction no huge counter balance is required. The long arm weighs 4.25 Kg and the short arm 4.0 Kg. The length of the arms and drop are shown above
The fully sealed lamp head needs no air passages for cooling because of its low heat generation hence there are no dirt traps. The light output is 1,600 Lux at 1 metre (240,000 Lux at 10cm)* the colour temperature of the light is 5,500 Kelvin (daylight has a colour temperature of 5,600 Kelvin so it is very close to daylight). The focal length is set at 1 meter.
An unforeseen benefit of these operating lights is by using the same spectrum of light as daylight they have the same effect as the lights used to combat SAD Seasonal Affective Disorder actually cheering up the operating staff!
No ultra violet or infrared is emitted in the light beam hence no heating of the patients skin or the operating staffs hair.
Each lamp runs from a small highly efficient switch mode power supply contributing to the overall low energy consumption, connected to an ordinary 13 amp plug if required
The Lamps are designed and made in the UK especially for the veterinary Profession.
Our price for the Ceiling and the wall installations are the same.
We offer a 2% discount for payment in the first week after delivery and a 10% refund for being instrumental in promoting a sale to a friend or colleague.
Installation is really so simple that can be done by the practice handyman / maintenance engineer, a full kit, with instructions can be sent to the practice for the same price.
*The Lux measurement takes into account the area over which the luminous flux is spread. 1000 lumens concentrated on an area of one square metre, lights up that square metre with a luminance of 1000 Lux. The same 1000 lumens, spread out over ten square metres, produces a luminance of only 100 Lux.
